The Beet

In a world of red velvet pancakes (delicious) and stuffed French toast (also delicious) it can be hard for a girl to find a healthy brunch. The Beet located in the Junction is the perfect solution with mouthwatering dishes with so much flavour you'll forget your eating quinoa and vegetables.

Tucked away on the corner of Dundas West and Pacific Ave. The Beets cozy and welcoming interior immediately puts you at ease. Its the perfect spot for a low key catch up without the frills.

The Huevos Rancheros caught my eye as I think I am prepared to call this my all time favourite breakfast dish, however I opted for the Buenos Dias Wrap (Black bean spread, Quebecois cheddar, quinoa, pico de gallo, avocado, cilantro chilli drizzle) instead as each of the ingredients called my name. The Breakfast bowl and Fully Loaded Avocado were the choices of my companions and both looked equally as delicious. We all left happy and full. The coffee was good too. Win!

An added bonus to the beet is the neat area its nested in with several little antique and art supply shops lining Dundas West nearby. I highly recommend perusing as you "walk off" breakfast.
