Kitten and the Bear
Before even stepping foot into Kitten and The Bear, it had won my heart with its delicately charming white exterior. A warm glow radiates from the large window and simply draws you in where you are greeted by a small menu and two tiny tables where it is possible to indulge in a high tea service.
The cafe features Sloane loose leaf teas displayed in adorable jars for easy smelling (and picking) one sniff of the chocolate truffle and I was sold. Unable to pass up a scone (never my go until recently, they are so delicious!) we added a couple to our order which came with a side of Black Plum and Earl Grey Jam. The jams change daily and there was a selection of three available.
We would have loved to stay and enjoy our goodies, however there were already some lucky guests at both tables available. We took to the streets and allowed our delicious tea to warm us as we wandered the shops and residential streets of Parkdale. Kitten and The Bear is a must visit if you are in this neighbourhood of Toronto!
