Cafe Can Can

Café Can Can tucked away in Harbord Village is your opportunity to brunch, dine and sip lattes in a charming and delicate bistro that one would otherwise find in France.   Since the moment a good friend of mine sent me the link to a Narcity article on Café Can Can I was enamored with the thought of it! Luckily it lived up to its expectations and I can verify it as a delightful place to get together with friends for a tasteful meal.

Besides radiating Paris vibes, I most liked Café Can Can because of its quirky touches. Like ceiling tutu’s in an adorable dining alcove towards the back of the restaurant that is perfectly private (and adorned with pom poms). Other favorites were a flamingo bottle stopper spotted behind the bar and the bill delivery method – inside of a papier-mache goose.

The service was attentive and lovely, the coffee was excellent and the food was delicious. The restaurant is quite small, yet as there are only a few tables you don’t feel overwhelmingly stuffed in like sardines. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, and a daily fixed menu at $39 in addition to brunch on Saturday & Sunday from 10 am – 3 pm.

I would recommend visiting Café Can Can with a couple girls for catching up. It just has that girly feel that makes you want to sip champagne and plan trips to Europe.
